The brain is a fascinating organ.  All day, every day, it is making decisions, thinking thoughts, running your body’s base functions and getting you around.


The obstacles we face in life change our brains from the resilient, flexible organs we’re born with to the functioning systems we have now.  Some changes are good – learning to walk, talk, read, socialize.  Some are not so helpful – learning to fear, distrust, internalize, and cope with life’s stressors in negative ways.  Much of our suffering comes from pervasive recurring thoughts and feelings in which our minds become emotionally stranded or cognitively “stuck”. Neurofeedback prompts the brain to draw from its existing resources and pull itself out of these mental “ruts”. The result is a more open and positive mindset in which obstacles are more manageable and problems more resolvable.
